Self-Defense Training for Municipal Law Enforcement Officers
This comprehensive self-defense module is specifically designed for Municipal Enforcement Officers to equip them with the core skills needed to effectively manage high-risk situations, with an emphasis on preventing escalation and reducing the likelihood of future confrontations. Participants will gain a deep understanding of how to use both tactical communication and physical techniques to defend against physical attacks, while adhering to a “least restraint/force” philosophy that prioritizes the safety and dignity of all parties involved.
Led by experienced and highly qualified Use of Force Instructors, the course blends expert guidance with practical, hands-on exercises. Participants will engage in real-world scenarios, enhancing their situational awareness, strategic decision-making, and physical control techniques. With a 9:1 student-to-instructor ratio, the course ensures individualized attention, allowing each participant to refine their skills and develop muscle memory in a safe, controlled environment. This approach maximizes practice time, building confidence and precision in applying defensive tactics.
Upon completion, participants will leave the course equipped with the knowledge and practical experience necessary to maintain control in potentially violent situations, using minimal force and restraint while ensuring the safety of all involved.
