Professional Dog Walker Certification

This course is specifically designed for Professional Dog Walkers, equipping them with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to set a higher standard in Professional Pet Care.  Participants learn how to; size, fit and utilize effective and humane equipment, improve their walk set ups, problem shoot over-stimulation, multi-dog leash handling and implement key elements to enrich puppy visits.  Participants are given the opportunity to put theory into practice, during the practical portion of the course, under the guidance of Canine Foundations’ Behaviour Consultants.  Our excellent instructor to student ratio ensures that each participant receives personal coaching, to sharpen their skills in implementing scientifically sound, humane training techniques designed to promote calm, focused behaviour in both private and group walk situations.  The Canine Attendant Training Course is strongly recommended as a prerequisite to the Professional Dog Walking Certification.
