Holly McCann PhotoHolly McCann is a second year Behaviour Consultant apprentice with Canine Foundations with close to two years of experience as a Secondary Handler in testing severe aggression cases with the owner and head Behaviour Consultant of Canine Foundations, Julie Ott. Holly has provided dog walking and pet sitting services for Canine Foundations' clients who are in rehab for severe behavioural issues (such as aggression, separation anxiety, and fears and phobias) through her company, Pet Stop Girls Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Service, for the past 3 years. With over 10 years of animal field background, Holly also oversees and facilitates many of canine Foundations' doggy therapy play dates and dog introductions for clients who are addressing dog-to-dog related issues.

In addition to her dog walking and pet sitting business and working with Canine Foundations, Holly also serves on the board of directors for Last Chance K9 Rescue. Her love for dogs in rescue has compelled her to take on a more active role in volunteering with other canine rescue groups such as Southern Ontario Animal Rescue, Precious Paws Rescue and the Barrie SPCA.

Previous to the start of her company in 2006, Holly worked for 3 years at a veterinary hospital. While there, she assisted the veterinarian during appointments; fed, bathed and walked animals in the care of the clinic; ensured sterilization of the clinic, operating room, and instruments; and worked in reception, performing administrative duties and customer service. Holly also worked for 3 years for Pet Valu where she was trained to educate the public on nutrition, training, equipment, and animal care.

Julie and her team look forward to meeting you and your furry friends.
